Once a month, or so, I seem to put away my contact lenses into its reverse holder.  I don’t know how/why it happens, the right lens holder is bright green and it should be obvious to me.  I don’t know, but it happens.  The next morning I blindly put my contacts into what I think is the correct eye.  I seem to immediately know that something’s wrong, but I cannot believe that I would make such a mistake, so I continue on.

Even driving to work I convince myself that I must be going blind, instead of considering that I could make a mistake.  Yes, upon arriving, I switch the lenses and all is well.

I try not to believe that my error is a harbinger of ‘having a bad day’.

All is well today.
